Care and Cure Initiative

The Care and Cure Initiative was founded in 2010 as a means to support programs that care for individuals with epilepsy and their families throughout northeastern New York and fund important research.

The Care and Cure Initiative is true to the mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York - to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research.  The vision is to ensure that "Not another moment lost to seizures".

With your support, we will:

• Support epilepsy research
• Provide direct services to people with epilepsy
• Provide medication to those unable to afford it
• Send children with epilepsy to summer camp
• Connect families with epilepsy to other families
• Educate about epilepsy in schools, hospitals, nursing homes and businesses
