22nd Annual Confections in Chocolate Celebrates "An Evening in Saratoga"The annual fundraising gala, "Confections in Chocolate" will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Wolferts Roost Country Club in Albany. This year's theme is "An Evening in Saratoga" and the event will highlight the many activities and beautiful places Saratoga has to offer! Saratoga Springs Mayor Scott Johnson and his wife are serving as our Honorary Chairpersons, welcoming guests to "An Evening in Saratoga." Phil Bayly, anchor NewsChannel 13, is returning as Master of Ceremonies. The evening begins with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, dancing and an assortment of exquisite chocolate desserts donated by local pastry chefs and restaurants, the highlight of the evening! No matter which treat you choose, it's sure to be a "win"! Over 100 silent auction packages will be available for bidding as well as several live auction items. Such items include overnight packages, a weekend in Cape Cod, billboard and bus advertising opportunities compliments of Lamar, jewelry provided by Hannoush Jewelers, dinners at local restaurants, sports memorabilia, and many more! View a sampling of the items available to bid on at the event! This event attracts almost 300 people annually. Space is limited and reservations are required; black-tie optional.
